Founded in 1997, Tronics is an international MEMS manufacturer, addressing growing markets with high added value. The company designs, manufactures and sells custom and standard MEMS-based products to the industrial, aeronautics, security and medical markets, relying on a strong portfolio of 25 families of patents. Tronics' MEMS inertial products combine all key benefits on a single chip, offering best-in-class performance and accuracy in an ultra-compact design. They are tailored for system manufacturers with high requirements for highly stable, high-performance inertial sensors. Manufactured, packaged and calibrated in its own fab located in France, Tronics' high performance inertial sensors bring significant value and differentiation for applications that are more demanding than automotive, while not requiring 'tactical grade' sensors. Following a tender offer ending January 2017, EPCOS AG, a TDK Group Company, now holds 74 percent of Tronics' shares.
